The Society of Field Inspectors (SOFI) offers a one-day training seminar on February 13, 2016 (Saturday 9AM - 4PM) at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Three additional days of training on February 14-16 will be on entry-level commercial insurance loss control inspections. These are separate training events with separate course fees.

Attending students will be provided with a download link for the Power Point presentation used in the classroom training. SOFI will also provide inspection descriptions and password access to SOFI University ... about 10GB of help documents, audios and videos.

Cape Canaveral is the second busiest cruise port in the world. The Cape Canaveral seminar is set up so that you can enjoy a cruise before or after the training. There are Bahamas and Caribbean cruises from this port. There are also casino ships operating from the port. Or, you can just enjoy a few days the beach. Visit nearby Cocoa Beach.
The one-day seminar is $99. Major credit cards are welcome. The seminar fee includes coffee and afternoon soda and snacks. Lodging, transportation, and meals are not included. Cape Canaveral is served by airlines into Orlando and Melbourne. Seating is limited to about 30 attendees.
